Corrosion protection, not just a plating service.
Whoever specifies a critical asset is not buying microns: they are buying the assurance that the equipment will not stop because of corrosion, and the evidence that it was measured. There are three fronts, and they usually show up together in the same project.
Coating
The right technology
Choosing and applying the coating the application calls for — from series zinc-nickel to nanolaminate NanoGalv®, with a fluoropolymer finish when the environment demands it.
X-ray coating measurement
Measured proof
Measurement of coating thickness and alloy by X-ray fluorescence, to Petrobras requirements, with a report — and external tests at an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory.
Treated fasteners
The finished fastener
Supply of the fastener already coated, rather than the plating service alone — one invoice, one technical contact, one lead time.
Technical drawing and coating standard.
These are the two pieces of information that let our sales team return system, class and thickness — not just a price. Send them by e-mail or WhatsApp: the website form takes no attachments, and losing the drawing would cost the technical part of the request.
For catalog parts with a low requirement — series fasteners, repeat lots — the quick route still works: material thickness, bath, part type and coating thickness in µm, and the price comes back. It is the door for the plating buyer, and it stays open.
For a project asset it is not enough: quoting by gauge and micron is what gets a system specified on price instead of on requirement. Hence the order — drawing and standard first.
Does Sapucaia only run the bath, or deliver the complete solution?
All three, and they add up. The core is choosing and applying the coating the application calls for. On top of that, we supply the fastener already coated, for those who prefer to receive the finished part instead of coordinating a manufacturer and a coater, and we measure coating thickness and alloy by X-ray with a report — including on parts that never went through our line.
Where do I start if I do not yet know which coating to specify?
With the technical drawing of the part and your end customer’s coating standard. With both, our sales team comes back with the system, the class and the thickness — not just a price. If the part is a catalog item with a low requirement, the four details of the quick quotation are enough: material thickness, bath, part type and coating thickness in µm.
