Wet-chemistry bath analysis.
Full control of the electrolytes, without waiting for the chemical supplier’s weekly report.
Relying on the chemical supplier’s analysis has a timing problem: the report arrives days after the sample. If the bath drifted out of range, the lot has already been processed — and the correction becomes rework, not prevention.
With our own laboratory the deviation shows up on the shift. Every bath is analyzed in house, and the correction is immediate.
Every analysis is recorded in the system and every replenishment is archived: there is a complete trace of what was added to each tank, and it is possible to reconstruct the conditions in which a specific lot was processed. In an audit, that is the difference between showing a record and promising that one exists.
Wet-chemistry analysis complements the X-ray reading: wet chemistry controls the bath composition; the XRF checks the result on the part — coating thickness in microns and alloy percentage.
